The 3rd All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Labor Market Development in the Context of Globalization Shifts: Challenges for Ukraine” was held. The event was organized and held by partner universities Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian (Carpathian) National University (Department of International Economic Relations) and Mariupol State University (Kyiv, Department of Labor Economics), as well as the All-Ukrainian Association of Companies for International Employment.
The following thematic areas of the conference have been identified: – modern transformations of global economic development; – international labor market: globalization dimension; – migration policy: regulatory priorities; – security discourse of labor resource provision; – HR economics: new constructs and trends.
The conference was attended by about 100 participants. Scientists from different regions of Ukraine met at the plenary and sectional panels to discuss the problems and prospects for the development of the national labor market and the country as a whole. They discussed migration policy, challenges and prospects for the labor supply of the Ukrainian economy, changes in the labor market, the impact of global transformations, etc.
At the plenary session, Liliya Mykhailyshyn, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian (Carpathian) National University, spoke on the topic of her report: “Spheres of Realization of the Human Resources Potential of Ukraine in the Conditions of Transformation of the Global Security Paradigm.”
